Introduction¶
DeepSeek Harness (DSH) records local session logs, but the native interface lacks usage statistics display. The dsh-token-dashboard plugin addresses this issue. It reads local session logs, replicates Codex’s layout, and provides data such as cumulative tokens, an activity heatmap, and model insights.
Core Features¶
- Five cumulative numbers: cumulative token count, peak token usage, longest task duration, longest consecutive days, current consecutive days.
- One-year activity heatmap: displays activity across the year, supports daily/weekly/cumulative total modes, and shows specific values on hover.
- Insights: statistics for the most common reasoning intensity, models ranked by Token usage, number of explored skills, total skills, total sessions, total turns, and cache hit rate.
- Most used: lists the most frequently called skills and their counts.
- Chinese-English bilingual: follows the DSH interface language, and number and duration formats (such as
370M,46m59s) change accordingly. - Read-only, zero cost: the plugin only reads logs under
$DSH_HOME/sessions, does not write to disk, does not access the network, and does not call models. - No runtime dependencies: the host side only depends on
node:*, and the browser side retrieves UI components from the DSH shell’s module table.
Installation and Enablement¶
This plugin requires DSH 0.2.x and Node.js ≥ 22.18.
Desktop app (Electron):
dsh plugin --profile desktop add @etheslay/dsh-token-dashboard --registry=https://registry.npmjs.org/
dsh web:
dsh plugin --profile web add @etheslay/dsh-token-dashboard --registry=https://registry.npmjs.org/
After installation, restart DSH and go to Settings → Usage to view the dashboard.
Verification and Troubleshooting¶
After installation, you can visit the health check endpoint to confirm that the plugin has loaded correctly:
# 将 <你的 DSH 端口> 替换为实际端口
curl http://127.0.0.1:<你的 DSH 端口>/dsh-token-dashboard/api/health
If you do not see the entry in Settings, check whether the profile is correct (the desktop app uses desktop) and run dsh --profile desktop --dump-config to confirm that the configuration includes this plugin.
Notes¶
- Read-only and privacy: the plugin does not write any data, does not access the network, and does not fabricate metrics that DSH cannot measure (such as quotas or plans).
- Uninstall cleanup: when uninstalling, you must also remove the
dsh.profile.bundlesentry in the profilepackage.json; the plugin itself does not retain user data. - Version requirements: ensure the runtime environment meets DSH 0.2.x and Node ≥ 22.18.
Conclusion¶
dsh-token-dashboard provides DSH users with a local, secure, and zero-cost usage analysis tool. It replicates Codex’s statistical style, but all data is based entirely on DSH’s actual session logs.
