@weibaohui/dsh-git-server: DeepSeek Harness Native Git Service Plugin

The design philosophy of DeepSeek Harness (DSH) is “everything is a plugin.” Developers often need to set up a local Git service to support their workflows. The dsh-git-server plugin packages a complete self-service Git service into dsh, providing HTTP clone/push as well as issues, PRs, and wiki features, all using the dsh native interface.

Core Features

  • Complete self-service Git service: Supports HTTP clone/push and covers repositories, issues, PRs, wiki, releases, tags, milestones, and webhooks.
  • dsh native management pages: Enter the full-screen page from the Git entry at the bottom of the sidebar to create repositories, delete repositories, and manage clone URLs. Repository browsing supports multiple tabs, including file tree + syntax highlighting, commit history, branches, issues, PRs, Wiki, releases, tags, milestones, and settings. The interface is based on React + the dsh theme and supports Chinese and English.
  • Collaboration loop: Provides a notification center (unread comments, assignments, and @mentions), cross-repository aggregation of “My Issues/PRs”, PR review, automatic issue closing via fixes #N push, and mutual linking between commits and issues.
  • Engineering capabilities: Supports branch protection (no deletion / no force push), tiered collaborator permissions (read-only / writable / administrator), binary attachments in releases, code search inside repositories, webhook test delivery and delivery history, and permanent file deep links.
  • Account integration: Account sources depend on the user-management plugin (must be installed first). Both Git credentials and page login are validated through user-management, web registration is disabled, and accounts are managed only by dsh.
  • One-click enable/disable and data: Enable/disable, port, and data directory are configured on the settings page and take effect immediately after changes. It listens on 0.0.0.0 by default and supports LAN access. The data directory contains repositories, the database, and logs; backing up this directory backs up all data.

Installation and Activation

This plugin depends on the user-management plugin for login and accounts. Make sure that plugin is installed before installation:

dsh plugin --profile web add @weibaohui/user-management -w
dsh plugin --profile web add @weibaohui/dsh-git-server -w

After installation, restart dsh web to activate it.

Typical Usage

  1. Open the Web UI → Settings → Git Server. It is enabled by default and listens on 0.0.0.0:3400. To disable it, uncheck the option on the settings page. You can also change the port, data directory, or view the root password here.
  2. Click Git at the bottom of the sidebar to open the full-screen management page, then create a new repository (or import/mirror a repository from a URL).
  3. Use Git commands to operate on the repository:
    git clone http://127.0.0.1:3400/root/drill-repo.git
    cd drill-repo
    git checkout -b feature
    # ... 进行开发 ...
    git push origin feature
Git credentials use the username and password registered in `user-management`.
  1. Daily operations such as browsing the repository, issues, PRs, wiki, releases, tags, and milestones are all completed on the native management page.

Notes

  • This plugin depends on the user-management plugin, which must be installed first.
  • Accounts are managed only by dsh.
  • Both Git credentials and page login are validated through user-management.

Summary

With this plugin, developers can directly obtain a fully featured Git service within the DSH ecosystem without maintaining complex server configurations separately. All operations can be completed through the dsh native interface, creating a closed loop from development to collaboration.
