DeepSeek Harness Local Usage Statistics and Achievement Tracking Tool

When using DeepSeek Harness (DSH) locally, developers often need to understand session consumption, tool call frequency, and the growth curve of their own capabilities. Manually tracking these metrics is inefficient and not intuitive. The dsh-achievements plugin reads locally persisted event records and provides a visual solution for statistics and achievement tracking.

This plugin is a local usage statistics and achievement tracking tool for DeepSeek Harness, maintained by developer oiuv. It addresses developers’ needs to “quantify work output” and “assess capability levels” by analyzing session events and providing features such as level progress, badge display, and challenge filtering.

Installation and Activation¶

The plugin requires DSH version 0.1.7-rc.2 or 0.2.0-rc.1 (and its Web configuration profile) and Node.js version ^22.19.0 or >=24. The DSH API is still in an unstable stage; other versions need to be verified independently.

Run the following commands in the DSH repository root directory to install it:

pnpm dsh plugin --profile web add ./dsh-achievements
pnpm dsh web

pnpm dsh web is a shorthand for starting the Web configuration profile; both have the same effect.

If installing using a tarball, download the file to the DSH repository root directory and then run:

pnpm dsh plugin --profile web add ./local-dsh-achievements-0.2.0.tgz
pnpm dsh web

After installation, stop and restart DSH, then refresh the browser to activate the new plugin.

Usage¶

• Open the Achievements page in the sidebar.
• The page displays the current level progress, unlocked achievement badges, tool usage bars, and activity charts.
• Data is stored in $DSH_HOME/achievements/stats.sqlite.
• Statistics are updated through persistent refresh and polling mechanisms (at least 1000ms) to ensure data accuracy.

Notes¶

• Simply copying the folder into the DSH repository cannot activate the plugin; the installation command must be run.
• The package name @local/dsh-achievements in package.json must be kept consistent.
• Data is stored in a local SQLite database; changing the time zone requires rebuilding the database.
• The plugin does not involve remote analytics, conversation uploads, or model-side tool calls.
