dsh-plugin-search: Keyword Search for DSH Plugin Pages

DSH is a plugin-driven environment. After many plugins have been installed, searching one by one on the “Plugins” page becomes inefficient. dsh-plugin-search injects a search bar into the plugins page and supports filtering by name, description, or package name, solving the difficulty of filtering when there are many plugins.

Search Bar Injection: Injects a search box into the plugins page (sidebar “Plugins”) and filters cards as you type.
Multi-Dimensional Filtering: Matching includes visible card text (title, description, tags) and package names or registered IDs in data-plugin-package / data-plugin-item.
Matching Rules: Supports case-insensitive substring matching; multiple keywords use AND logic (for example, entering task 看板 requires all keywords to match).
Smart Grouping: If no cards in a group match, the entire group is hidden, including the group title and count.
Count Display: Shows matches / total on the right side of the search bar; displays a prompt message when there are no matches.
Quick Actions: Supports clearing the search term using the × on the right side or the Esc key.
Language Following: Automatically follows the DSH interface language (Chinese/English).
Runtime Behavior: Only reads DOM state; does not modify any data or session.

Installation and Enablement¶

Install using the official command:

dsh plugin --profile web add github:huangxp12/dsh-plugin-search

--profile is required; web is usually the standard Web profile.
After installation, refresh the page to enable it (frontend plugins do not require a restart).

Typical Usage¶

When many plugins are installed, enter a keyword in the search box (such as “看板”), and the page filters cards in real time. Installed groups and official groups display matching cards separately, and the search bar shows the number of matches on the right side.

Notes¶

Runtime Scope: The plugin only manipulates DOM state; it makes no network requests and neither reads nor writes session logs.
Permission Scope: It does not modify the Loader’s enablement state, install or uninstall plugins, or change plugin configurations.
Empty State: When the search term is empty, the page state is the same as without the plugin installed.
Manual Installation: If using a custom profile (such as desktop), manually place the package into the profile’s node_modules and add the configuration item id: plugin-search to cordis.patch.yml.

Summary¶

dsh-plugin-search is a lightweight client plugin designed to optimize the viewing experience of the DSH plugin list. It does not change underlying logic and only improves search efficiency through frontend filtering.
