@fish-under-sea/dsh-fish: DeepSeek Harness All-in-One Plugin Bundle

Introduction

DeepSeek Harness (DSH) follows the “everything is a plugin” philosophy, so extending functionality typically requires installing multiple independent plugins. Fish-under-sea provides @fish-under-sea/dsh-fish, an aggregated bundle of self-built DSH plugins. It integrates 14 commonly used plugins together and reduces repetitive configuration and maintenance costs by inserting the plugin entry in a single step.

Included Plugins

This aggregate package contains 11 subpackages from this repository and 3 external supplement packages:

Subpackages in This Repository (11)

  • approval-guide: Adds Chinese explanations to approval dialogs, stating the approval content and rationale.
  • git-sync: One-click Git synchronization that syncs the plugin inventory, enabled status, local settings, Skills, board/usage ledger, settings navigation order preferences, free model configuration and usage ledger, and wallpaper engine full-machine configuration snapshots to a private repository.
  • settings-nav-order: Rearranges the left-hand menu in the settings panel, customizes its order, and restores it across machines.
  • visual-companion: Invokes the visual companion when viewing prototypes in a web page and automatically starts a session.
  • skill-lens-fish: Detects flat skills and draws dependency graphs.
  • task-board-fish: Task board.
  • git-graph-fish: Git graph.
  • ssh-fish: SSH connections.
  • usage-fish: Usage statistics.
  • session-archive-fish: Session archiving.
  • video-preview-fish: Video preview (supports streaming responses and Range requests).

External Supplement Packages (3)

  • agent-teams-fish: Agent teams.
  • better-reasoning-effort-fish: Reasoning effort optimization.
  • our-free-model: Free models.

Core Features

  1. Aggregate installation: Install all 14 plugins with a single npm install; no individual configuration is required.
  2. One-click Git synchronization: Syncs the plugin inventory, enabled status, local settings, Skills, board/usage ledger, settings navigation order preferences, free model configuration and usage ledger, and wallpaper engine full-machine configuration snapshots to a private repository.
  3. Settings navigation reordering: Customizes the order of the left-hand menu in the settings panel; preferences can be restored across machines via Git-synchronized plugins.
  4. Visual companion invocation: When viewing prototypes or layouts in a web page, you can select elements, add notes, and submit them to the assistant, which automatically triggers a new session without needing to repeat the request in the terminal.
  5. Skill lens: Detects flat skills, resolves references in skill-refs/, and renders them as a dependency graph.

Installation and Enablement

Make sure the environment meets the following requirements:
- Node.js version >= 20
- DSH version >= 0.2.0-rc.2

Run the following command to install:

npm install @fish-under-sea/dsh-fish

Notes

  1. Renaming requires rebuilding the bundle: A mismatch between the registered id and the package name will throw an error, causing the settings page or panel to fail to load. Subpackages in this repository already ensure consistency between the registered id and the package name.
  2. User configuration is unaffected: The settings namespace and the plugin name export are runtime configuration contracts; renaming does not cause existing configuration to be lost (such as SSH host stores, usage ledgers, etc.).
  3. Range semantics and safeguards: HTTP Range request handling (200 / 206 / suffix range / 416 / HEAD, etc.) and protection mechanisms remain consistent with upstream.

Summary

This aggregate package is suitable for users who need to manage DSH plugins in bulk and frequently synchronize workflow configurations across machines. The source code is available at Fish-under-sea/dsh-fish.
