Introduction¶

The default interface of DeepSeek Harness (DSH) may cause visual fatigue during extended use. The xiaotuchu/dsh-theme-eye-care plugin provides low-stimulation color schemes that reduce visual strain by changing the base background color of the interface.

Core Features¶

• The plugin provides three color schemes: Warm Paper, Bean Green, and Warm Gray.
• Dark mode automatically switches to the corresponding night variants (Warm Night Brown / Dark Green Night / Warm Gray Night).
• Changes take effect immediately; no reload or restart is required.
• User preferences are saved automatically and remain consistent the next time the app opens.
• Multi-window synchronization is supported.
• Interface text follows the UI language.

Installation¶

Install it using the following command:

dsh plugin --profile web add "@xiaotuchu/dsh-theme-eye-care"

After the initial installation, you must restart DSH once. The plugin manifest is assembled at startup.

Usage¶

1. Open Settings → General.
2. After the built-in “Appearance” and “Font Size” options, find the color scheme switch.
3. There are four options: Warm Paper, Bean Green, Warm Gray, and Native.
4. Click to switch; no restart or page reload is required.

Notes¶

• Color scheme preferences are stored locally in the browser and are distinguished by origin (domain + port).
• Some hard-coded colors in third-party components may not be overridden.
• Only color variables already provided by the official DSH interface are overridden.
• Compatible with DSH >= 0.2.0-rc.2.
