DeepSeek Harness (DSH) provides a pluggable framework, but the sidebar interface has functional gaps: it cannot view a unified list across workspaces, body search is disabled by default, and there is no option to delete conversations. DSH-chat-keeper is a third-party community plugin designed to fill these gaps, offering cross-workspace conversation management, body search, batch archiving, and a trash-based deletion mechanism.

The plugin mainly offers the following capabilities:
- Cross-workspace unified list: View conversations from all workspaces in a single view.
- Body search (supports Chinese substrings): Search conversation bodies, with Chinese substring matching (indexing must be enabled).
- Bulk archiving by time: Process old conversations in bulk using time filters (7/30/90 days ago).
- Trash-style deletion: Provides deletion, moving items to the trash by default, with support for restoration.
- Conversation index management: Maintains conversation indexes and supports batch operations.
Installation¶
Install from the DSH plugin page or command line:
dsh plugin --profile <your profile> add https://github.com/Sky-lll27/DSH-chat-keeper
After installation, restart DSH to load the plugin.
Typical Usage¶
1. Search Conversation Bodies¶
By default, DSH body search is disabled; this plugin enables it via a combo patch. Enter keywords in the panel search box, and the system will highlight matching conversations. Search supports Chinese substrings, but Chinese substring search requires additional disk reads and may cause a minor pause.
2. Batch Manage Conversations¶
In the unified list, select multiple conversations, and use the top batch action bar:
* Archive/Unarchive: Quickly organize conversations.
* Delete selected: Move conversations to the trash.
* Time filter: Use the dropdown menu to filter conversations from 7/30/90 days ago for bulk cleanup.
3. Delete and Restore¶
Deletion operates at the disk level and moves items to the trash by default rather than permanently deleting them. Deletion requires explicit confirmation, and deletion of running conversations is refused. Due to browser permission restrictions, deletion commands must be copied to the clipboard and then pasted and sent in DSH for execution.
You can view the trash at the bottom of the panel and select batches to restore or empty.
Notes¶
- Default trash mechanism: Deletion moves items to the trash by default; this can be changed to permanent deletion via configuration (use caution).
- Index configuration: To persist search indexes, configure
persistPathin the combo patch. - Search overhead: Chinese substring search involves disk reads and may cause slight lag.
- Third-party nature: This is a community plugin and is not affiliated with DeepSeek official.
Ecosystem Context¶
The DSH philosophy is “everything is a plugin.” The community directory is maintained by an independent site and has no subordinate relationship with the DeepSeek official team.
