By intercepting public results with Node’s built-in `fetch` and registering the same-named `web_search_deep` tool, it successfully bypasses the tool masking mechanism in newer versions. The plugin supports dual-backend switching and six-tier depth control, and is free by default. To prevent unintended invocation, it is recommended to configure `backend: local`, `allowOfficial: false`, and `maxAutoTier: 3`. Tiers above T4 involve subagent calls and will incur token billing.
