`dsh-video-preview` is a DSH plugin developed by zemul, designed to address the lack of video file preview functionality in the `dsh-better-sidebar` sidebar. Version 0.1.4 of this plugin is released under the MIT license and requires Node.js >= 20. It implements the inline rendering of a standard `<video>` player by registering a `video` previewer, supporting playback control, progress seeking, speed adjustment, fullscreen mode, and volume control. It is compatible with various common video formats, including MP4, WebM, and MOV. Additionally, it includes a host route that supports HTTP Range requests and is not restricted by the sidebar's `mediaLimit`. To install, execute `dsh plugin --profi` in an environment where `dsh-better-sidebar` (>=0.4.0) is enabled.
