Introduction¶
When using DeepSeek Harness Web UI, users working in a non-native language environment frequently encounter menus, sidebars, settings panels, and the MCP connector interface, requiring constant language switching. The dsh-screen-translator plugin provides a solution by translating visible areas in real time directly inside the DSH Web runtime, eliminating the need to switch back and forth between the browser and local tools.
Core Features¶
- 45+ Languages Supported: Supports more than 45 languages, including English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, French, German, Russian, and Arabic.
- Multi-Endpoint Google Engine: Automatically switches between endpoints such as
dict-chrome-ex,clients5,single-at, andweb-atto avoid 429 errors caused by rate limiting. - Full-Spectrum DOM Coverage: Handles visible text nodes, SVG typography (
<text>,<tspan>), interactive attributes (placeholder,title,alt,aria-label), Shadow DOM roots, and same-origin/nested iframes. - High Performance & Zero-Lag: Uses a dual-cache mechanism with in-memory LRU caching and LocalStorage persistence, combined with a debounced MutationObserver, to achieve 0ms rendering latency. Supports
[data-no-translate]tags and code blocks to prevent circular translation. - Clean Native UI Integration: The interface is integrated into Settings → General and supports one-click translation and cache clearing.
