DeepSeek Harness (DSH) is a plugin-based environment where specific functional panels are implemented as plugins. When you need to access a local knowledge base (such as an Obsidian vault) or view notes using the exact same typography as Obsidian, you need a bridge. This plugin provides that bridge, allowing an Obsidian vault to run inside the DSH interface.

dsh-obsidian is a plugin that integrates an Obsidian vault into the DSH right sidebar. It supports browsing the vault tree, full-vault search, and reading notes using Obsidian’s native reading-view typography. The owner is DedsecLemon, and the license is MIT.

Core Features¶

• Browse the vault tree: View the folder structure of the selected vault.
• Search every note: Perform full-vault searches that return matching lines and the notes they belong to.
• Obsidian-styled reading: Notes are rendered using Obsidian’s reading-view typography, ensuring consistent appearance between DSH and Obsidian.
• WikiLinks support: Follow [[wikilinks]] across the vault; clicking a link opens the target note as a page.
• Edit in place: Modify notes directly in the panel and save them to the file system.
• Open in Obsidian: Hand a specific note to the local Obsidian application for editing.

Installation¶

The plugin requires DSH version ^0.2.0-rc.2 on a web profile and Node.js >=22.12.0.

Execute the following commands:

# Place it under the nested dsh.profile.bundles (not a top-level "bundles")

Usage¶

1. Open the right sidebar in DSH.
2. Navigate to the vault tree.
3. Open a specific note page.
4. Use the note outline to jump to sections.
5. Edit the content directly and save.

Notes¶

• No build step: The running source consists of index.mjs and client.js.
• No network requests: No outbound requests, telemetry, or third-party endpoints.
• Runtime dependencies: None.
• Configuration: The bundle list is dsh.profile.bundles (nested). A top-level bundles will cause the plugin to silently fail to mount.
• Conversation feature: The 對話 (conversation) entry depends on the sessions/workspaces service. If this service is missing, the tree, search, note pages, and outline still work.
