dsh-plan-checkup: DeepSeek Harness Plan Review Plugin

In the /plan mode of DeepSeek Harness (DSH), after an agent submits a plan, developers need to verify the steps before approval. The dsh-plan-checkup plugin reads each step in the plan, marks check results on the review card, and assists developers in making decisions.

Plugin Positioning¶

This is a workflow plugin maintained by Bear0117. It does not perform any approval, rewriting, or blocking actions; it only provides suggestions based on rules and the decision engine. Before the decision engine is configured, all checks are performed locally.

Core Features¶

1. Step-level checks: The plugin walks through every step in the plan for verification.
2. Review card feedback: After the agent submits the plan, a Plan checkup badge appears in the review card toolbar.
3. Real-time progress and flags: The badge displays check progress (for example, Checking 3/8) and immediately shows rule-matched flags (color-coded).
4. Detailed data and probabilities: Clicking the badge allows you to view the detailed description, probability, and specific matched command rules for each flag.
5. User interaction: Users can vote on flags (👍/👎), and voting data is stored locally. It provides the Put in the message box and Copy feedback features, making it easy to directly initiate a Request changes flow with the agent.

Installation and Enablement¶

Use the official command to install the plugin. After installation, restart dsh web.

Typical Usage¶

1. In the dsh web interface, enter /plan to enable plan mode, then send your request.
2. After the agent submits the plan, find the Plan checkup badge in the review card toolbar.
3. Click the badge to view check details, probabilities, and matched commands.
4. If you need to revise the plan, click Put in the message box, then click Request changes. The message box generates a list of issue descriptions for developers to edit and send.
5. After confirming everything is correct, click Approve to execute the plan.

Applicable Scenarios and Notes¶

• Environment dependencies: This plugin requires dsh 0.2.x (tested on 0.2.0-rc.2) and Node.js 22.19+ or 24+.
• Data security: Before the decision engine is configured, data does not leave the local machine. The data sent contains only the most recent 3 requests, the plan title, the current step text, and its context lines. API keys and tokens are masked before sending.
• Functional boundaries: If the decision engine is unreachable, the badge displays “Rules only”, and only command rules are used for checks. This plugin only provides suggestions and does not automatically modify or approve the plan.
