The core design philosophy of DeepSeek Harness (DSH) is “everything is a plugin.” When developing agents or building data analytics applications, creating a visual data dashboard typically requires manual coding or complex visualization tools, which is time-consuming and error-prone. The dsh-dashboard-ai plugin aims to solve this pain point by using AI to automatically complete the entire workflow, from data reading and chart selection to page layout.
Plugin Overview¶
This is an AI-driven general-purpose dashboard plugin. It is maintained by 33Wade333, released under the MIT license, and is a client-side plugin. The core value of the plugin is enabling users to quickly obtain a clearly structured, immediately interactive data analytics panel through natural language instructions.
Core Capabilities¶
-
Automatic Data Assembly
The AI reads the database schema and, based on data characteristics, automatically determines which metrics are suitable for which chart types, without manual intervention or configuration. -
Automatic Layout
No drag-and-drop editing is required; the system automatically fills the available space and arranges component positions based on primary and secondary data, maintaining a visually balanced yet dynamic layout. -
Detail Drill-Down
Supports step-by-step drill-down from macro-level metrics to micro-level details. The operation path is: Click a metric card → View dimension breakdown → Click again → View individual raw records. -
Features
- Rich Charts: 17 built-in chart types.
- UI Style: Feishu-style design.
- Offline Operation: Supports single-file offline execution.
- Display Mode: Supports full-screen display.
- Auxiliary Features: Includes metric definition cards and generation gate features.
Installation¶
Run the following command in the terminal to install:
dsh plugin add github:33Wade333/dsh-dashboard-ai
Usage¶
After installation, no additional configuration is required; simply enter instructions directly in the DSH chat window.
Basic usage:
Just say “make me a dashboard” in the chat, and the AI will generate a dashboard based on the current context data.
Use with Skills:
This plugin works best when used together with the data-model-builder Skill. The Skill guides the AI, from scratch, to build a data model (including a four-layer data warehouse architecture and unified metric definitions), while the dsh-dashboard-ai plugin converts the data model built by the Skill into an interactive dashboard.
Notes¶
- The plugin runs with the permissions of the current DSH process. Before installation, it is recommended to review the source code and license.
- This plugin is an open-source project maintained by community developers and has no direct affiliation with DeepSeek’s official team.
