DeepSeek Harness (DSH) adopts an “everything is a plugin” architecture. When managing remote storage in a WSL environment, you may sometimes need to query the status of a remote storage, list files, or check usage without performing copy or deletion operations. The dsh-wsl-rclone plugin provides this read-only capability.
Plugin Positioning¶
This plugin is maintained by user 173787247 and is a DeepSeek Harness plugin that runs in a WSL environment. It extends DSH capabilities through the read-only interface of rclone, mainly targeting scenarios that require retrieving remote resource information.
Core Features¶
The plugin provides the following four commands, supporting read-only queries only:
rclone_status: Checks whether the rclone environment is available.rclone_listremotes: Lists the names of all configured remote storages.rclone_lsf: Lists files under a specified remote storage.rclone_about: Views usage or quota information for a remote storage.
Installation and Enablement¶
The installation command is as follows:
dsh plugin --profile web add github:173787247/dsh-wsl-rclone
The plugin requires DSH version >= 0.1.2. It is included in the optional dsh-wsl-kit suite, but is not included in the install.sh script by default. If batch linking is required, refer to dsh-wsl-kit/scripts/link-linux-plugins.sh.
Typical Usage¶
After installation, you can call these directly in DSH:
- Check the rclone environment:
rclone_status
- Get the remote list:
rclone_listremotes
- List remote files:
rclone_lsf remote_name
- View quota/usage:
rclone_about remote_name
Configuration Notes and Cautions¶
- Read-only mode: The plugin does not support
copy, sync, ordeleteoperations, and cannot modify remote storage content. - Traffic control: It is recommended to set
allowedRemotesin the configuration to allow access only to specific remote storages, limiting outbound traffic. - Secret security: The
rclone.conffile may contain sensitive information. Do not paste keys directly into chat histories.
