Introduction¶

In the DeepSeek Harness (DSH) ecosystem, developers often need to enhance agent decision-making through structured judgments (such as noul, choice, and score). dsh-wsl-jev is a self-contained WSL plugin that directly calls the TypeSafe Jev or OpenRouter System One model to perform these judgments, without relying on third-party middleware.

Plugin Positioning¶

This plugin is part of the dsh-wsl-kit suite (not the default install.sh set). It provides structured output by calling OpenRouter or TypeSafe HTTP APIs. It does not generate long-form text; it focuses on decision-making.

Core Features¶

The plugin provides four main tools:
* jev_status: Checks the current configuration, including provider, endpoint, API key status, and proxy settings.
* jev_ask: Asks a typed, specific question about the state.
* jev_check: Validates a single question (noul): whether the evidence supports the claim.
* jev_rank: Selects the item that best matches the query from a list of candidates.

Installation and Enabling¶

1. Use the official command to install the plugin:

    dsh plugin --profile web add github:173787247/dsh-wsl-jev

2. Restart the service according to the suite documentation:

    bash ~/path/to/dsh-wsl-kit/scripts/restart-dsh-web.sh

Configuration and Environment¶

The configuration file is usually located at ~/.dsh/dsh-wsl-jev.env.

Note: When running in a WSL environment, you typically need to set HTTPS_PROXY (to stay consistent with IM or fetch tools).

Typical Usage¶

In a new session, first run jev_status to verify the connection. Then use jev_check for validation. It is recommended that claims use concise English for efficiency.

• It does not generate long-form text; it only performs structured decision-making.
• It is self-contained and does not depend on third-party Jev dsh/MCP plugins.
• Suite integration: It is an optional plugin and is not included in KIT_SET=daily or install.sh.
• It must meet the DSH version requirement (≥ 0.1.2).
• Check the source code and license before installation.
