Introduction¶
Under the plugin-based architecture of DeepSeek Harness (DSH), agents frequently need to call external tools to obtain context. For developers using GitLab, repeatedly running glab commands to retrieve merge requests (MR), issues, or CI status is a common need. As a read-only plugin, dsh-wsl-glab is designed to address this issue.
Plugin Overview¶
dsh-wsl-glab is a DeepSeek Harness WSL plugin used to retrieve read-only information via GitLab CLI (glab). It does not perform creation or merge operations; it only lists status.
Core Features¶
The plugin provides the following core capabilities:
1. glab_status: Retrieve the glab version.
2. glab_mr_list: List MRs.
3. glab_issue_list: List issues.
4. glab_ci_status: Retrieve pipeline status.
Installation and Enablement¶
Installation steps are as follows:
dsh plugin --profile web add github:173787247/dsh-wsl-glab
Optional: If dsh-wsl-kit is installed, you can link plugins in bulk via a script.
Configuration Notes¶
- Authentication: The plugin uses
glab’s own configuration for authentication. - Operation mode: The plugin only provides read-only operations and does not create or merge MRs.
- Configuration option: Supports the
timeoutMssetting. - Complementary relationship: It is complementary to
dsh-wsl-github.
Compatibility and Version¶
- Minimum requirement: DSH version ≥ 0.1.2.
- Version information: The plugin package version is 0.1.1 (package.json), but the README table shows 0.1.0.
- Suite integration: It is not included in
install.shby default unlessKIT_SET=dailyis used. - Latest verification: Refer to dsh-wsl-kit compatibility.
Use Cases¶
Suitable for scenarios that require directly querying GitLab project status, MR progress, or CI run results in the DSH environment.
Conclusion¶
By wrapping glab commands, this plugin allows agents to obtain GitLab context even without write permissions. For more details, refer to its GitHub repository.
