Preface¶
DeepSeek Harness (DSH) adopts a plugin-based architecture designed to extend base capabilities. When developing or deploying services in a WSL environment, it is common to need to check the running status of Docker Compose projects, view logs, and perform start or stop operations. The dsh-wsl-compose plugin encapsulates these common commands, providing a safer interaction method than entering commands directly in the Shell, especially by adding confirmation mechanisms for dangerous operations such as up/down.
Plugin Overview¶
The plugin is a client-side tool maintained by user 173787247 and follows the MIT license. It primarily addresses the need to quickly query and manage Docker Compose projects under WSL in the DSH environment.
Installation and Enablement¶
To install the plugin, run the following command:
dsh plugin --profile web add github:173787247/dsh-wsl-compose
For local debugging or when using a specific path, you can also point directly to a local directory, for example:
dsh plugin --profile web add /mnt/c/Users/YOU/Desktop/AIFullStackDevelopment/dsh-wsl-compose
Core Features¶
The plugin provides the following tool commands:
compose_status: Checks whether Docker is available.compose_ps: Views the output ofdocker compose ps.compose_logs: Views the tail of the logs.compose_up: Starts services (marked as a dangerous operation).compose_down: Stops services (marked as a dangerous operation).
Configuration Highlights¶
The plugin supports controlling behavior through configuration options, mainly including allowRoots, allowMutate, and timeoutMs.
By default, allowMutate is false. If you need to modify system state, such as executing up or down, you must set the option to true and include the confirm=true parameter when calling the tool.
This feature complements docker_doctor and can be used for environment checks.
Compatibility and Dependencies¶
- Minimum DSH version: ≥ 0.1.2.
- Plugin version: 0.1.1 (package.json shows 0.1.1, while the README shows 0.1.0; use package.json as the reference).
- Suite version: 0.2.0-rc.2.
- Compatibility baseline: Refer to the compatibility documentation of
dsh-wsl-kit. - Optional dependencies: The
dsh-wsl-kitsuite is optional and is not included by default ininstall.sh.
Notes¶
- Dangerous operations:
compose_upandcompose_downare dangerous operations that involve starting or stopping services. Be careful with parameter configuration when using them. - Permission control: Control execution permissions through configuration options such as
allowRoots. - Code review: It is recommended to review the source code and license before installation.
