Introduction¶

In the development and usage scenarios of DeepSeek Harness, enabling a model with web search and tool-calling capabilities is key to improving practicality. Manually filtering and comparing product information on e-commerce platforms is inefficient. The huixuan-assistant plugin integrates with the Pinduoduo Open Platform API and leverages large language model capabilities to automate the search, filtering, comparison, and recommendation workflows, allowing the model to provide purchasing recommendations directly in conversation.

Plugin Introduction¶

huixuan-assistant is an online tool plugin maintained by developer Hercules-debug. Its core value is to help users, in DSH conversations, use AI to search for and compare Pinduoduo products and provide purchasing recommendations.

Core Features¶

The plugin mainly provides the following capabilities:
1. Official API search: Searches products by calling the official Pinduoduo Open Platform API.
2. Multidimensional filtering: Supports filtering and sorting by price, sales volume, and service tags.
3. Intelligent comparison: Uses an LLM to extract features from product titles and generates comparison tables.
4. Recommendation and links: Provides purchasing recommendations and generates promotional links.
5. Automatic image display: Automatically displays product images.

Installation and Activation¶

Deploy using the official installation command:

dsh plugin --profile web add github:Hercules-debug/huixuan-assistant

After installation, restart dsh web for the configuration to take effect.

Typical Usage¶

Enter your requirements directly in the conversation, and the plugin will automatically invoke tools:
* Search and filter: Enter “I want to buy a power bank, within CNY 100, and it needs to be allowed on a plane,” and the plugin will search for and filter products that match the conditions.
* Calculate unit price: Enter “Help me look at box tissues and calculate the price per 100 sheets,” and the plugin will calculate the price per 100 sheets and recommend the most cost-effective product.
* Batch comparison: Enter “Compare these products,” and the plugin will generate a detailed comparison table.

Limitations and Notes¶

Before using it, be aware of the following:
* Coverage: It is not a whole-web price comparison tool; it only covers products eligible for promotion.
* Data fields: The Pinduoduo API does not return product specification parameters. The plugin relies on an LLM to extract them from titles, so inaccuracies may occur.
* Quota consumption: The shared quota is approximately 10 calls per minute, and detail lookups and comparison features consume quota per product.
* Functional boundaries: It does not handle ordering or payment flows, and it does not perform web scraping.
* Credential mechanism: Built-in credentials are for trial use only. For long-term use, it is recommended to configure your own Client ID, Secret, and PID to obtain an independent quota.

Configuration¶

After installation, the plugin uses built-in credentials by default and can be used immediately. For long-term stable use or an independent quota, fill in the following in DSH Settings → Plugins → Plugin Configuration:
* Client ID
* Client Secret
* Promotion slot PID
