Preface¶
The core design philosophy of DeepSeek Harness (DSH) is “everything is a plugin.” When debugging or developing agents, you often need to fine-tune a single turn of conversation: change a prompt word and rerun it, rerun a specific reply in place, or delete a context turn that should not appear. Existing official features only provide whole-segment compression and lack fine-grained per-turn operations. The dsh-as-aistudio plugin turns DSH into an environment similar to Google AI Studio, where each conversation turn is an independent playground.
Plugin Introduction¶
dsh-as-aistudio is a client plugin maintained by DDDMUC. It packages four independent feature components (Edit, Rerun, Delete, Markdown bubbles) and deploys them with a single installation. In the plugin list, these four features occupy only one line, but each component remains independent and can be installed separately or coexist.
Core Features¶
- One line in the plugin list: The plugin list shows only one line, containing entry points for Edit, Rerun, Delete, and Markdown.
- Independent components: The four feature components are independent from one another, do not interfere with each other, and can be installed individually.
- Status visualization: An AI Studio tab is added in Settings to display the running status and occupied slots of each component in real time.
Installation and Enable¶
Install the plugin in DSH’s Web or desktop client using the following command:
dsh plugin --profile web add dsh-as-aistudio
For the desktop client, replace --profile web with --profile desktop. This command automatically installs the four dependency components.
Typical Usage¶
After installing and restarting the host, perform operations in the conversation interface:
- Edit and rerun: Hover over your sent message, click the pencil icon, modify the prompt, and rerun it.
- Rerun or delete: Hover over the model’s reply and click the Rerun or Delete button.
- View status: Go to Settings -> Plugins -> AI Studio tab to view the real-time status of each component.
Notes¶
- Development modifications: After modifying the component source code, you must rerun the
npm run vendor && npm run buildscript; otherwise, the browser-side copy will not be updated. - Host restart: Host version constants are read once when the process starts. After modifying the plugin, restart the host and hard refresh the page.
- Compatibility: Requires DSH version >= 0.1.6-alpha.2.
Conclusion¶
By integrating turn-level operations into DSH, this plugin improves debugging efficiency. The DSH ecosystem follows the “everything is a plugin” philosophy. The community directory (skillhub.cn) provides plugin search and has no affiliation with DeepSeek official.
