Introduction¶

When developing agents with DeepSeek Harness (DSH), the Agent is often in a state of waiting for human intervention, such as requiring tool authorization or answering questions. Developers typically need to keep watching the DSH window, which disrupts their current workflow. This plugin solves the problem by using Windows native notifications, allowing the Agent to proactively report its status via system banners or cards while running in the background. Developers can stay informed about progress without needing to keep focus on the window.

Plugin Overview¶

This is a DSH plugin maintained by VoodooB0Ys. It provides Windows native Toast banners and a full-screen fallback card, triggering reminders when the Agent needs authorization, asks questions, completes, errors, or aborts. Clicking the notification switches directly back to the corresponding DSH conversation, achieving seamless continuity for split-screen work.

After installation, the DeepSeek Harness host process must be restarted (hot reload will not take effect).

Typical Usage¶

After installation, the plugin is enabled by default. You can adjust the reminder behavior by editing the profile’s cordis.patch.yml, such as disabling native banners, adjusting the deduplication time window, or toggling sub-agent reminders.

Applicable Scenarios and Notes¶

• System requirements: Only Windows 10/11 (x64) is supported. Depends on PowerShell 5.1 and .NET Framework 4.
• Version requirements: DSH 0.2.0-rc.2 or a compatible version is required.
• Runtime mechanism: A COM activator must be registered to support the feature of clicking a notification to switch conversations.
• Hot reload limitation: The host process must be restarted after code changes; the plugin registers routes at startup.
• Turn determination: Turn endings shorter than 5 seconds are not considered “completed.”
• Permissions: The plugin runs with the current DSH process permissions; please install it from a trusted source.
