DSH (DeepSeek Harness) adopts a plugin-based architecture, and managing a set of plugins usually requires copying and pasting multiple commands. During team collaboration or environment migration, installing them individually by hand is cumbersome and error-prone. DSH Plugin Share solves this pain point. It converts a plugin manifest into a pasteable offline sharing code. The recipient only needs to paste it or scan it to install the plugins one by one.
What It Is¶
This is a DSH client plugin maintained by HGT158, and its core feature is offline sharing. It encodes your current plugin state (source, version, and enabled status) into a piece of text that can be sent to others. The recipient can parse this code to install, upgrade, or switch the enabled status of plugins in batch. The plugin itself is pure JS with zero dependencies, and its installation process does not trigger build scripts.
Core Features¶
Based on verified facts, the plugin provides the following capabilities:
- Generate offline sharing codes: Convert the plugin manifest in the current profile into text.
- QR code export and import: Support exporting SVG vector images or PNG bitmaps, as well as importing directly from an image or by scanning with a phone.
- Full plugin operations: Support install, upgrade, enable, and disable operations.
- Offline self-contained: Encoding, decoding, validation, and QR code generation are all completed locally, with no dependency on external services.
- Manifest-only mode: The sharing code contains only plugin source and version information, and does not include sensitive data such as configuration files or API keys.
- Line-by-line preview and confirmation: Before import, it lists plugin details line by line, and the user can confirm each action before execution.
- Reject build scripts: By default, it rejects packages that require build scripts; explicit approval is required when needed.
- CRC32 checksum: The code includes checksum information to prevent corruption during transmission, but it is not a signature and cannot prevent tampering.
Installation and Enablement¶
Install this plugin in a Web profile environment:
dsh plugin --profile web add 'github:HGT158/dsh-plugin-share#main'
dsh --profile web
After installation, open Harness Web and go to Settings → Built-in Plugins → Plugin Share. Restart DSH for the changes to take effect (in a browser, Ctrl+F5 is recommended for a hard refresh).
Typical Usage¶
1. Export a sharing code
In the Plugin Share panel, click “Export from current profile”. A code starting with D1 will appear in the text box. Click “Copy” to send it. You can also click “Show QR code” to generate an image, which can be saved as SVG or PNG.
2. Parse and import
Paste the code into the text box and click “Parse combination code”. The plugin information will be listed line by line below. There is a corresponding button on the right side of each row:
- Install: The plugin is not present locally.
- Upgrade: An older version exists locally.
- Enable / Disable: The plugin exists but its state is inconsistent.
- Already current version: No action is required.
3. QR code import
Click “QR code import”, select a QR code image or drag an image in. The recognized code is automatically filled in and parsed.
4. Update
Use the update command to upgrade to the latest version:
dsh plugin --profile web update dsh-plugin-share
Applicable Scenarios and Notes¶
- Recipient environment: The recipient must already have the DSH Plugin Share plugin installed to use the import feature.
- Profile restriction: Only Web profile is supported. Desktop profile cannot install this plugin through the CLI.
- Security: The sharing code does not contain configuration information, nor does it propagate build scripts. It is validated only with CRC32 and does not provide tamper protection. The recipient must verify the plugin sources in the preview list.
- Restart required: After installing or changing a plugin’s state, the DSH process must be restarted for the changes to take effect.
Summary¶
DSH Plugin Share transforms plugin sharing from cumbersome command-line operations into simple text-based interaction. With offline codes and QR codes, it enables rapid migration and reproduction of environment configurations. For developers who need to synchronize plugin stacks across multiple devices or teams, this is an efficient tool.
