Foreword¶

The design philosophy of DeepSeek Harness (DSH) is “everything is a plugin”. In agent development or local model debugging scenarios, you sometimes need to use models built into a specific desktop app (such as MiMo). These models usually do not have independent API keys, or obtaining a platform API key may go through a different billing system.

Traditional solutions either require applying for a separate platform key or installing a third-party reverse proxy tool and configuring auto-start at boot. The DSH MiMo Connect plugin provides a lighter path: directly reuse the credentials of the already logged-in MiMo client and bring its models into the DSH chat window.

Core Features¶

1. Zero configuration: If the client is already logged in, the plugin works after installation without any prompts.
2. Reuse the client’s quota: Reuse the MiMo client’s quota without applying for a separate key.
3. No resident processes: It does not start a proxy, inject processes, or write registry auto-start entries. Once DSH is closed, nothing is left behind.
4. Remaining quota visible in place: When the session switches to MiMo, it displays the remaining quota and reset date.
5. Can be used independently of the client: You can log in separately even if the client is not installed.
6. Follows the account: It automatically follows if the client switches accounts.
7. Supports image input: When the model supports it, you can paste images directly.
8. Thinking process visible: The chain of thought is presented as streaming events.

Installation and Enablement¶

The plugin is installed through the DSH plugin manager. After installation, directly select a model under the MiMo group in the DSH model selector.

(If you are using a profile other than desktop, replace desktop in the command with web / dsh-tui, etc.)

About login¶

If neither the client is installed nor existing credentials are available, manual login is required. The login command provides step-by-step guidance: open the login page, copy the three values (passToken, cUserId, userId) from the Cookies in developer tools, and paste them back. The plugin first verifies that the credentials are usable, and saves them only after verification passes.

Credential Sources¶

The plugin resolves credentials in the following order; if an earlier source exists, it will not prompt you:

1. $DSH_HOME/.mimo-connect-auth.json: saved after the plugin logs in by itself.
2. MiMo client cookies: reused read-only, without modifying any client files.
3. If none are available: it prompts you to run the login command.

The client cookie location read by the plugin is:

Notes¶

• The free quota has been canceled: The free quota for the MiMo desktop app has been canceled. You must use your account’s own subscription or other purchased quota. The plugin itself does not provide or bypass any quota; whether it can be used depends entirely on your account quota.
• Real-world test result: In testing with a real account without a subscription, requests are rejected with 403 membership_required before inference. This shows that the plugin can reach the gateway entrance but cannot enter it. At present, it is not possible to test whether the inference tiers work on an account without a subscription.
• Model list: The plugin currently uses a built-in snapshot that includes the two models mimo-v2.6-flash and mimo-v2.6-pro.

The DSH plugin ecosystem is maintained by the community. The plugin directory has no direct affiliation with DeepSeek’s official team.
