The native statistics row in DeepSeek Harness (DSH) is located below the Composer and has relatively basic functionality. If you need to view provider and model information, real balance or subscription quota, peak/off-peak pricing, and session spending in real time, the dsh-bottom-info-bar plugin can replace that row with a detailed data bar containing the above information.
Plugin Overview¶
- Description: Replaces the statistics row below the Composer to display the provider and model, balance or subscription quota, peak/off-peak pricing, and session spending.
- Author: songao25
- Category: Model Inference
- License: MIT
Core Features¶
- Replaces the statistics row below the Composer.
- Displays the current provider and model in use.
- Displays the real balance, subscription quota, or cloud billing.
- Displays pricing for peak and off-peak periods.
- Displays session spending (current session, today, past 30 days, all time).
- Displays time and custom text.
- Hover over the balance to view topped-up balance and gifted balance.
- Supports switching between “Full” and “Compact” modes.
- Supports multiple languages (English, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, Italian, Russian, Hindi, Indonesian).
- Automatically updates via npm.
Installation and Activation¶
Run the following command in the terminal to install it:
dsh plugin --profile web add dsh-bottom-info-bar
After installation, you need to restart DSH for the changes to take effect, because the plugin is composed when the host starts. Simply refreshing the page is not sufficient.
Usage¶
- Switch Modes: Click the bottom info bar to switch between “Full Mode” and “Compact Mode”. Full Mode retains DSH’s native statistics row, while Compact Mode collapses it.
- Configure Settings: Go to the plugin settings page to modify the language or billing mode. Changes are saved automatically.
Notes and Data¶
- Data Storage: Data is stored in the
dsh-bottom-info-bar/folder under the localDSH_HOMEdirectory (default:~/.dsh/dsh-bottom-info-bar/). - Uninstallation Cleanup: Uninstalling the plugin does not automatically delete ledger data. If you want to clear it completely, export or clear the data in Billing first.
- API Keys: API keys are located in DSH’s Settings → Models.
- Subscription Access: Some subscriptions require local login; MiniMax requires a Subscription Key.
Summary¶
This plugin replaces the originally simplistic statistics row with a bar containing real-time balance, pricing information, and detailed spending records, making it easier for developers to monitor costs at a glance.
