Introduction¶
DeepSeek Harness (DSH) is a plugin-driven platform, and its default interface may not fully meet the needs of prolonged immersive development or reading. dsh-yoimiya-theme is a fan-made theme based on the Genshin Impact character Yoimiya, designed to provide a more comfortable visual experience and refined interaction details.
Core Features¶
Light/Dark Mode and Color Schemes¶
The theme includes two built-in color schemes: Summer Festival Night and Washi Day.
- Summer Festival Night: dark background with warm orange tones, suitable for nighttime use.
- Washi Day: light background with beige tones, suitable for daytime use.
The theme automatically follows DSH’s light/dark setting, with no manual configuration required.
Procedural Visual Effects¶
- Firework Particles: A fireworks button is provided in the bottom-right corner. The particle effects are generated procedurally and support three levels of rise speed, density, and explosion size, and can also be disabled. The frame rate and particle count are displayed in real time at the bottom of the panel.
- Smart Wallpaper: On the homepage, the wallpaper is fully bright. After entering a chat, the wallpaper automatically recedes to the background layer to avoid obscuring the main text.
- Code-drawn elements: The sidebar badge, the vertical indicator for the selected conversation, and the input box placeholder text are all drawn with code and do not depend on image assets.
Warm Syntax Highlighting¶
The theme replaces the default high-saturation blue-purple palette with warm tones for syntax highlighting. The code block background is also adjusted to a warm color, reducing visual fatigue during prolonged reading.
Local Music Player¶
The player reads a local folder as the music library and does not upload any files.
- Library management: Simply place audio files in the yoimiya-music folder.
- Cover support: You can add an image with the same name as the audio file as its cover, and you can also adjust the cover size and position within the panel.
- No network dependency: The theme does not connect to the network; all resources are local.
Installation and Activation¶
The theme supports Web and DSH Desktop. Before installation, please ensure that your DSH version is 0.8.1 or later.
Command Line Installation¶
dsh plugin --profile web add github:CosmerHomura/dsh-yoimiya-theme
Note: --profile web refers to the DSH profile name, not a restriction to the web version only.
Web Installation¶
- Open DSH Settings.
- Go to the Plugins page.
- Search for
yoimiya. - Find
dsh-yoimiya-themeand click Install.
DSH Desktop Installation¶
The desktop client does not include the dsh command, so you need to use the script provided in the repository:
1. Fully quit DSH Desktop.
2. Right-click tools\install-local.ps1 and choose Run with PowerShell.
3. Start DSH Desktop and refresh the page to apply the changes.
After installation, if the interface does not change, try refreshing the page (Ctrl+R) or restarting DSH completely.
Typical Usage: Configuring the Music Player¶
The music library is stored in DSH’s configuration directory, operates offline, and does not upload files.
-
Create the music library folder
Open DSH’s configuration directory (the default on Windows is%APPDATA%\dsh-desktop\harness) and create ayoimiya-musicfolder. -
Add songs
- Method 1 (recommended): Drag audio files (.mp3,.flac, etc.) and optional cover images directly into that folder. The panel rereads the directory each time it is opened.
- Method 2: Click Add Song in the player panel and select local files. The cover supports dragging and zoom cropping. -
Use the player
Click the music button in the bottom-right corner to view the cover, control play/pause, and adjust progress and volume.
Uninstallation¶
Web / Command Line¶
- Web: Go to Settings -> Plugins -> find
dsh-yoimiya-theme-> Remove. - Command line: run
dsh plugin --profile web remove dsh-yoimiya-theme.

--dir "$env:APPDATA\dsh-desktop\harness\profiles\web" `
