During development or debugging of the DeepSeek Harness (DSH) web interface, you sometimes need to restart the host process (for example, to update configuration or fix a freeze). Manually switching to a terminal or using systemctl often requires interrupting the current workflow and looking for the launcher window. The dsh-restart-button plugin adds a one-click restart entry in Settings, resolving this operation gap.
What It Is¶
This is a client-side plugin maintained by AllenLogo. It adds a restart item to the General section of the DSH web interface settings page, allowing users to restart the host process by clicking a button and automatically refresh the page.

- Install the plugin:

- Restart DSH to activate the plugin.
Typical Usage¶
After installation, find the restart button in DSH Settings -> General. Click the button, and the host process restarts and the page refreshes automatically.
Use Cases and Notes¶
- Version requirement: Requires DSH >= 0.1.5-rc.1, and depends on the webServer and connection services.
- Session interruption: Restarting preserves session files in
~/.dsh/sessions, but the current turn and approvals in progress are interrupted.
