For scenarios where you need to add a festive atmosphere, input secret-code interactions, and share cards to the DeepSeek Harness session interface, plugins are lighter than directly modifying the main UI. Below is an introduction to dsh-qixi, a Qixi Valentine’s Day easter egg plugin for the DeepSeek Harness Web UI, featuring four capabilities: atmosphere skinning, confession bullet comments, acrostic love letters, and share cards.

What Is This¶

dsh-qixi is a DeepSeek Harness plugin maintained by Zhang9628, licensed under MIT. It solves the problem of quickly adding Qixi-themed atmosphere, secret-code-triggered text interactions, and downloadable, copyable share cards to the DSH Web UI.

Core Features¶

1. Atmosphere Skinning

When the heart toggle in the sidebar is enabled, the interface applies a pink/rose theme and displays a blessing banner, a real-time Canvas particle background, and a floating share button.

2. Confession Bullet Comments

After enabling atmosphere skinning, entering 520 in the input box triggers 10 romantic messages floating across the screen.

3. Acrostic Love Letters

Entering 情书 or loveletter generates a typewriter-style love letter. The letter content is randomly generated from a library of 100 phrases and supports rewriting, saving to favorites, and generating a new one.

4. Share Cards

The plugin can generate Canvas-based 1080×1440 cards, offering 5 color themes and supporting download and copy.

Installation and Activation¶

First, confirm that you have a DeepSeek Harness environment on your machine. Then run the installation command:

dsh plugin --profile web add dsh-qixi

After installation, restart dsh, and you will see the heart toggle at the bottom of the sidebar. Only after enabling this toggle will the Qixi theme and secret-code gameplay be activated.

Typical Usage¶

Here is a repeatable activation path:

1. Click the heart toggle at the bottom of the sidebar to enable atmosphere skinning.
2. Enter 520 in the input box to view the full-screen romantic bullet comments.
3. Enter 情书 or loveletter in the input box to generate a typewriter love letter; if needed, use “generate new” to regenerate.
4. Click to generate a share card, select a color theme, and then download or copy the card.

Note: Secret-code gameplay requires first enabling “atmosphere skinning.” Without clicking the heart toggle, entering 520 or 情书 will not trigger any easter eggs.

Applicable Scenarios and Notes¶

Suitable for DSH users who want to add a festive atmosphere to the DSH Web UI, test plugin extensions, or use secret-code text and share cards as lightweight interaction entry points.

Notes before installation:

1. A DeepSeek Harness environment is required.
2. The installation command uses --profile web, and you need to restart dsh after installation to see the heart toggle in the sidebar.
3. The plugin runs with the permissions of the current dsh process. You should review the source code, dependencies, and license before installation; this plugin is licensed under MIT.
4. If you install locally using a file: path and modify the code, file: dependencies may have hash caching. When dsh plugin add reports Already up to date, you need to manually overwrite:
