`dsh-reading-companion` is a DeepSeek Harness (DSH) plugin for novel reading, designed to provide a localized, cloud-storage-free reading experience that prevents AI spoilers. It offers local TXT bookshelf management and a structured note-taking system (excerpt–reflection–tag–AI response), and uses a three-layer mechanism (prompt rules, path gate, and network gate) to strictly limit the AI to reading only the current chapter and previously read chapters, safeguarding plot integrity. Users can import books, take notes while reading, and export background and notes to a local note library with one click. Installation requires DSH >= 0.1.5-rc.2, and the application must be restarted after installation.
